What is FIGU?
The acronym 'FIGU' stands for Freie Interessengemeinschaft für Grenz-und Geisteswissenschaften und Ufologiestudien - translated from German into English as Free Community of Interests for the Border and Spiritual Sciences and Ufological Studies. FIGU was founded in Switzerland by 'Billy" Eduard Albert Meier in 1975, and is organized as a non-profit society und Swiss ZGB (civil-law-book) article 60ff.
The main purpose of the FIGU organization is to provide an unfiltered publishing platform for the extraordinary information pertaining to the most pressing issues facing our planet. The acquired information provided by Billy Meier exists mostly as a result of his lifelong contacts with extraterrestrial human beings (a true story that will, only at a later time, be recognized as by the bulk of humanity). Since 1975, when he went public with his contacts, and until May 2, 2014, there have been 1209 personal and 1241 telepathic contacts with the Pleidian/Plejaren extraterrestrials and members of their Federation. The contacts are still ongoing, and will continue for the duration of Meier's life. 586 contacts are documented and available as contact reports. The FIGU Semjase-Silver-Star-Center (CH-8495 Schmidrüti) in Switzerland is home to the Wassermannzeit Publishing House, which is responsible for publishing these contact reports, as well as articles, pamphlets, a quarterly newsletter, etc., and the over 40 books written by the modest, wise, and still virtually unknown-to-the-public, one-armed Swiss man 'Billy' Eduard Albert Meier. Besides being Meier's home, the Semjase-Silver-Star-Center is also the holding house for the remaining original evidence of Meier's unique contacts, including slide film of beamships posing for the camera, off-world metal samples, signed witness testimony to related events, sound recordings of the unshielded beamships etc., of which had not been either stolen or falsified by third parties. It is the duty of the FIGU Core Group in Switzerland of safekeeping of this evidence, and most importantly, of preserving Meier's instructive spiritual teaching after his passing and to prevent contamination and adulteration of his wellspring of highly controversial, specific, rich and valuable informative literary treasure.
It is the task of FIGU literature - most of which is free of charge and available online - to clearly address the real problems in our world, and to provide responsible solutions to: overpopulation, torture and the death penalty, racism, discrimination against women, child abuse, animal cruelty, and environmental destruction, to name a few. Because of the extraterrestrial element, naturally there exists a real outsider's perspective within this material, as well as the truth about matters pertaining to UFOs and our cosmic neighbors. Further, the aim of FIGU is to also provide a sense of deeper understanding with regards to the personal consciousness-related progress of the individual and collective human beings i.e. the true meaning and origins of human life; the individual power of the human being through correct thinking, feeling, and actions; teaching about consciousness and the human spirit, reincarnation, death, meditation, the psyche; how to personally achieve true love, peace, freedom and harmony, as well as knowledge and wisdom and much, much more.
The FIGU is comprised of an international group of non-religious, non-political people who, by their own freewill, have taken interest in and chosen to associate themselves with the organization because of their quest for truth and understanding about the meaning of life for human beings, and of the human beings' place and role within this universe, which is part of what is freely offered by FIGU. Those who choose to orient their thinking and their actions parallel to the recommendations found in FIGU literature written primarily by 'Billy' Eduard Albert Meier, form a small world wide community of people who have each tested the material within themselves and have found it to be of value.
